A week-long escape to some of the world's most exotic locations, the Black Diamond Celebration treats Black Diamond-level distributors to world-class accommodations; dining and recreation; and leisure time on exquisite beaches from all over the globe.

2008 Black Diamond Celebration Recap

Black Diamond-level and above distributors recently returned from Black Diamond Celebration 2008. Spending two weeks cruising the Mediterranean onboard a luxurious cruise ship, MonaVie's leaders were treated to a well-deserved getaway.

The trip kicked off with an opening night party in Barcelona, Spain, aboard the Celebrity Summit. From Barcelona, the group set sail to Nice, France. After landing in Nice, distributors traveled by train to Monaco where they spent the day at Monte Carlo. There, they rented Ferrari F430s and cruised the Circuit de Monaco—the site of the Formula One Monaco Grand Prix.

Friday was spent in beautiful Florence, Italy, where distributors began the first of three days in the historic country. They enjoyed many sights, including the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo di Firenze, and Michelangelo's famous statue, David. The Black Diamonds also had the opportunity to make a stop in Pisa to snap photos of the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Rome provided so many historical sites it was impossible to see them all in one day, but at the top of Saturday's agenda were the Colosseum, the Pantheon, and Vatican City. One of the more moving experiences of the trip was admiring another of Michelangelo's masterpieces, the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel.

Among the many stops in Rome was the Trevi Fountain. As is customary, Dallin and his family each tossed a coin over their shoulders. According to legend, you will return to Rome if you toss a coin into the water with your back to the fountain.

The weekend in Italy came to a close in Naples where distributors got to sample the many beautiful beaches and coves along the Amalfi Coast. Some distributors opted to take a ferry to the Island of Capri to swim in the gorgeous grottoes of the Mediterranean Sea.

It was hard to say goodbye to Italy, but the islands of Santorini, Greece, were calling and would provide the group with more lifelong memories. Upon arrival, distributors hopped on burros, which took them up to the peak of the city of Fiera. Later, the crew toured the island on dune buggies. Almost all of the buildings in Santorini are painted white. Against the brilliant blue ocean, it was an amazingly picturesque scene usually reserved for movies and magazines.

Tours of the ancient Acropolis and Parthenon marked Wednesday's adventures in Athens. A few distributors were treated to a breathtaking view of the landscape from a helicopter, while others took the more traditional route by foot.

On Friday, August 1, the Celebrity Summit set sail to Dubrovnik, Croatia, on extraordinarily translucent waters. Upon arrival in Dubrovnik, guests were immediately greeted by the imposing presence of the Revelin Fortress. Distributors scaled the walls and took in a view of the entire city and its distinctive architecture. They also got to participate in an excursion around Dubrovnik's neighboring islands in a pirate ship. Cliff jumping, kayaking, and swimming were also included in the day's events.

The enchanting Black Diamond Celebration came to a close with two days and nights in romantic Venice, Italy. The group relaxed by enjoying the atmosphere in the city's main square, eating delicious cuisines, and gliding in gondolas along Venice's famous canals.

As they did each night of Black Diamond Celebration 2008, distributors ended their journey appreciating the magnificent sunset from the back of the Celebrity Summit, reflecting on a trip they will always treasure.
